 Re: Certificate of completing alternative military service

Hereby we certify that Mgr. Juraj  O R A V S K Ý,  born on May 1, 1970, birth reg. number 70-05-01/6227, resident in Bratislava, Šalviová 48, performed the alternative  military service in our institute from August 15, 1995 to February 15, 1997.

During the time of doing the service in our institute he participated in making the software for the needs of our organization, as well as for the needs of the Statistics Office of the Slovak Republic. He was placed in the research group dealing with the computer support of data collection for the purposes of obtaining statistical findings in the Slovak Republic.

Mr. Oravský worked with the DOS and Win.3.11. operation systems.

In his work he used the program instruments for:

·         programming of database applications by the 3 GL (Cliper, C-tree) languages

·         programming in the C language

·         programming of the “batch” files for the DOS platform.

During his service he completed the internal training course on the ORACLE database system.

He solved the assigned tasks (in cooperation with the workers of the respective group) at the required level.
